Private Pharmacist Consulting — Orlando, FL
Your medications, finally making sense together.
Most people take five or more prescriptions from two or three different doctors — and no one ever sees the full list at once. I do. I'm a pharmacist who reviews everything together, finds what's risky, duplicated, or no longer needed, and hands you a clear plan to take back to your doctor.
The Problem No One Is Watching For
Good doctors. Good intentions.
Nobody connecting the list.
Each prescriber sees only their own piece. The interactions, duplicates, and side-effect spirals live in the gaps between them — and that's exactly where a medication review works.
Too many prescribers
A primary care doctor, a cardiologist, an urgent-care visit — each adds a medication, rarely removes one, and almost never reviews the others.
The prescribing cascade
One drug causes a side effect. Instead of stopping the first drug, a second one is prescribed to treat it. Now you're paying two copays for one problem.
Paying for yesterday's needs
Medications started years ago quietly stay on the list forever — even after the reason for them is gone. Nobody's job is to ask whether you still need them. Now it is.
Why a Medication Review Matters
The numbers behind
the second look.
Medication problems are among the most common — and most preventable — causes of harm in American healthcare. Most are never caught, because no one is assigned to look at the whole list. A review is that look.
people visit U.S. emergency departments every year because of adverse drug events — and nearly 500,000 of them end up hospitalized.
CDC · Medication Safety Dataof those emergency visits each year involve adults 65 and older — more than twice the rate of younger people.
CDC · Older Adults & Medicationsa year in illness and death from medication therapy that isn't optimized — a burden a careful review is built to shrink, one list at a time.
Watanabe et al. · Annals of Pharmacotherapy, 2018medications taken at once is where the risk of harmful interactions, falls, and hospitalizations climbs — and it climbs further with every addition.
Polypharmacy · A Recognized Safety ThresholdCost estimate in 2016 dollars. A review doesn't replace your doctors — it gives them, and you, the full picture no single visit ever shows.

Every review covers prescriptions, over-the-counter products, vitamins, and supplements — together.
What a Review Catches
The details a 10-minute appointment can't.
- ✓Duplicate & overlapping therapyTwo drugs doing the same job — sometimes the same drug under two different names.
- ✓Interactions — including supplementsPrescription-to-prescription, and the supplement interactions almost nobody checks.
- ✓Unnecessary monthly costBrands with an identical generic, and refills for medications that should have been stopped.
- ✓Timing & adherence problemsRight drug, wrong time of day — or a schedule so complicated no one could follow it.

Care at the level of detail
your list deserves.

One medication, one question, one clear answer. Starting something new? Worried about a supplement with your prescriptions? A focused 30-minute conversation, priced by topic.

Your vitamins, supplements, and over-the-counter products reviewed right alongside your prescriptions — because supplement–drug interactions are one of the most common blind spots in a medication list.
New Medication Check
Before a new prescription joins an already long list, get a second set of pharmacist eyes on how it fits with everything else.
Supplement & GLP-1 Review
Supplements and weight-management medications interact with prescriptions in ways labels don't explain. Get the full picture first.
Follow-Up Review
After your doctor makes changes, we re-check the new list together and confirm everything landed the way it should.
Focus Areas
Where I can help most.
The same medication topics I break down every week on Instagram — educational posts on Tuesdays, myth-busting on Thursdays — are the ones that come up most in reviews.
One thing to know: this practice is medication education and optimization — I don't diagnose or treat conditions. I make the medication side of your care safer, clearer, and easier to manage, and your prescriber stays in charge of your treatment.
How It Works

The Difference
Why clients choose
a private pharmacist.
You get Jon — every time
No rotating staff, no handoffs. The pharmacist who reviews your list is the one who follows up with you.
Time to actually look
A typical pharmacy counter conversation lasts two minutes. A comprehensive review takes as long as your list requires.
Nothing to sell you
I don't dispense, and I don't profit from what you take. My only incentive is a shorter, safer, cheaper list.
About Your Pharmacist
Jonathan Ramnauth,
PharmD
I'm a pharmacist in Orlando focused on medication safety, medication reviews, and patient care consulting. My work is built on precision and careful attention to every detail of a medication list — because when it comes to your health, seeing the full picture clearly is what keeps you safe.
I started Pharm Care Consulting for the other side of pharmacy — the conversation that never gets enough time. Family and friends kept bringing me their parents' medication lists: ten, twelve bottles deep, from doctors who'd never spoken to each other. Again and again, the review found something — a duplicate, an interaction, a copay for a drug nobody needed anymore.
This practice is deliberately small and personal. When you book, you work with me directly, and I follow up myself.
Why I started this
Most medication problems aren't caused by bad doctors or careless patients. They happen because nobody ever sees the whole picture — three prescribers, a cabinet of supplements, and refills running on autopilot.
I started Pharm Care Consulting to be the one set of expert eyes on your complete medication list. Every review asks three questions: Is this helping? Could it be hurting? Is it still worth paying for?
The goal is simple: no medication without a reason, no dangerous surprises, and the confidence that everything you take has earned its place — whether the list is yours, or your parent's.
— Jon Ramnauth, PharmD, RPh, CPh, BCSCP

Who This Is For
If any of these sound familiar…
You're on 5+ medications
The more prescriptions from different prescribers, the more a single full-list review matters.
You're caring for a parent
You've seen the pill organizer grow and wondered whether anyone is watching the whole picture. Now someone is.
Something feels off
New fatigue, dizziness, or fogginess after a medication change is worth a careful second look — not just another prescription.
The 60-Second Quiz
Is a medication review
right for you?
Five quick questions. An honest answer — even if it's “not yet.” Your result appears right here, free — no email needed to see it.
Five questions. One straight answer.
Tell me whose list we're talking about, how long it is, and whether anything has changed lately. I'll point you to the service that fits — the full review, a quick focused consult, or an honest “not yet.”
General information only — not medical advice. Taking this quiz doesn't create a pharmacist–patient relationship. The quiz asks for counts and categories only — never medication names or conditions — and your answers stay on this page unless you choose to send them along with a message.
Who is this for?
How many prescription medications are on the list?
How many different doctors prescribe them?
Are vitamins or supplements part of the routine?
Has anything changed recently?
Select all that apply — or choose “None of these.”

For Families
Worried about your parent's medications?
You don't have to decode a growing pill organizer on your own. With your parent's knowledge, I can review their complete list, flag what needs attention, and give your family a clear written plan to bring to their doctor — and with the Caregiver Plan, I keep watching after every change.
Client stories, coming soon.
Pharm Care Consulting is a newly launched practice, and I'd rather show you real words from real clients than fill this space with anything else. As the first reviews are completed, their stories will live here — with their permission, in their own words.
Questions, Answered
Before you ask.
I review your complete list — prescriptions, over-the-counter products, vitamins, and supplements — for interactions, duplicates, unnecessary medications, dosing and timing issues, and cost-saving opportunities. We discuss every finding together, and you receive a written plan plus a summary written for your prescriber.
No — only your prescriber can change your prescriptions, and that's by design. I identify what deserves a second look and give you a clear, evidence-based summary to bring to your doctor, so the conversation is informed instead of guesswork.
Three ways: finding medications you're paying for monthly that are no longer needed, switching brands to identical generics where appropriate, and catching prescribing cascades — where a side effect is being treated with a second paid medication instead of addressing the first.
Yes — that's one of the most common reasons people reach out. With your parent's knowledge, you can share their list and join the conversation. The Caregiver Plan adds ongoing oversight after every change to their list.
No — this is a private, direct-pay practice. That's what keeps pricing transparent, appointments unhurried, and the advice independent of what any insurer or pharmacy profits from.
Both. I'm based in Orlando for local clients, and focused and comprehensive reviews can be done virtually. We'll decide together what fits your situation when you reach out.
Just your medication list — photos of your bottles work fine to start — including anything over-the-counter and every supplement. If a bottle is in your cabinet and you take it, it belongs on the list.
